William Grady  has 27 years of  investment Banking and  Investment Management experience and  focuses on structuring and investing in Commercial Real estate related opportunities with institutional investors as partners.

William began his Wall Street career in the Mortgage Finance Department at Goldman, Sachs & Co in 1985, where he advised Financial Institutions on M&A  and structured financing transactions. From 1991 to 2002 he worked in the Structured Finance area of Salomon Brothers, Inc where he co headed the European, US and Global ABS  business before co founding the Principal Finance group which invested in distressed assets with firm capital.

In 2002, Mr. Grady left Salomon Brothers and co-founded Gryfon Partners, LLC, a Principal Finance firm which originated and co-invested in Structured Finance Special Opportunity investments with hedge fund partners. Mr. Grady joined Ramius Capital Group, LLC in 2004 and until leaving Ramius in Jan of 2007, he was Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for a portfolio of Structured Finance investments and was actively involved, as an investor, in the development of the CDS market for Structured Finance transactions, both in single-names and the ABX Index.

Since 2005, Mr. Grady has been actively involved as an investor, operator, and adviser in the Commercial Real Estate markets.

Mr. Grady received a BS in Economics, Accounting major,  magna cum laude from Lehigh University , and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Grady resides in Summit, NJ and Twin Bridges, Montana.

 

Andrew Kent has over 20 years of experience as external and in-house legal counsel specializing in commercial real estate and structured finance transactions. Mr. Kent spent over six years as an attorney with the multinational law firm Jones, Day in New York, NY and served nearly a decade as in-house counsel for Franchise Finance Corporation of America (a NYSE REIT) and its successor, GE Capital.   In those latter capacities, he was directly involved in over $10BN of commercial financing transactions and as well as a number of whole-loan sales and purchases, securitizations and other complex capital transactions.


After leaving GE in 2005, he was Director of Capital Markets for Hometown Commercial Capital, a specialty finance start-up that focused on originating "small bank" commercial real estate loans for the CMBS market.  In that role, Mr. Kent had broad responsibility in creating a lending business that originated over $300MM in small balance commercial loans in a little over two years and completed two successful stand-alone securitizations. 

Andrew received a BA in English and Psychology from the University of Rochester and JD, magna cum laude, from the New York Law School.  Andrew currently resides in Scottsdale, Airzona and serves as Vice President and Underwriting Counsel for the Phoenix National Title Services office of Fidelity National Title Company. 

 

Jon Younghans is a business manager and entrepreneur with 20+ years of hands- on operational experience. He brings strategic focus and fiscal experience to the team.  He purchased and successfully grew a multi-million dollar technical ceramics manufacturing business, before selling it.

During his tenure, Jon was responsible for sales, contract management, business development, design, engineering, and manufacturing. At a time when similar operations were moving off-shore, he successfully maintained the 55 year old company’s relevance by reinventing the product lines and the employment base. He also brings 20+ years of concurrent experience with commercial real estate management and development. Jon has a BA from The College of Wooster.
